How it works in practice

  1. 01

    Initial consultation

    1–2 hours of questions about lifestyle, work, social life, likes and dislikes, and budget. Often free or offered at a reduced price as a first meeting.

  2. 02

    Wardrobe review

    At the client's home — what works, what should go, what is missing. This builds the foundation for what needs to be added.

  3. 03

    Shopping day

    Either together with the client or solo (you shop, they try on at home). NK, Biblioteksgatan and brand boutiques. Some stylists work on commission from stores — transparency is key.

  4. 04

    Styling session

    Outfits are built from existing pieces and new purchases. Often photographed so the client has a personal lookbook to return to.

  5. 05

    Ongoing relationship

    The best stylists keep regular clients they help season after season — this is where the real value lies.
